What is the difference between us and the OCSWSSW?
The Ontario Social Service Worker Association (OSSWA) and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) both have important, but vastly different, roles.
OCSWSSW is a professional regulatory body that aims to protect the individuals, families, groups and communities that social service workers serve. OSSWA, on the other hand, works to support social service workers themselves. At the end of the day, we are the organization that has your back, while the OCSWSSW has your clients.
