The Ontario Social Service Worker Association Merit, Citation and Award Nomination Portal is used for nominators (you) to place a nomination (on this portal), for a nominee (the person nominated for consideration of receive the Merit, Citation or Award). Please be advised, the Ontario Social Service Worker Association receives a high volume of Merit, Citation and Award Nominations. Nominees are carefully considered and selected with an objective process. Unfortunately, only nominations considered and selected may receive a Merit, Citation or Award. The Ontario Social Service Worker Association is appreciative of all those whom take the time to complete a nomination.

In the event that the nomination is discovered by the association to have been placed with dishonesty, unfairly inaccurately, or in bad faith, the association reserves the right to permanently disqualify the nomination and the nominator from future participation and in extreme circumstances, report the occurrence to the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), or other appropriate regulatory body as well revoke the membership of the nominator should they be a member of the Ontario Social Service Worker Association (OSSWA).
